Imagine that you dont teach everything at the classroom such as grammar structure, pronounciation , and other parts of English, when you have technology you should take advantage of it, so thats what we are going to talk abut.
Multimedia in English Language Teaching , a new and technological way of learning.
In a school of Mexico, it has been proved that English grammar structure can be learned thru a computer by different systems that each school creats with its own lesson plan. This means that teachers are not going to worry about teaching grammar in the classroom to students instead they can practice pronounciation and vocabulary or backwards how ?,,
By creating a system wich audiolingual lessons , for this schools would need computers,microphones and headphones. This can be the future way of learning having students to assiste to the classroom 3 hours and 2 hours to multimedia, multimedia would help them learn grammar structures and practice pronouncitation as well , this system can go by the hand of what its taught in the classroom so students can prove that they have learned , and as well to take class at its own pace when talking about multimedia. The system would make the student learn :
-Grammar
-Pronounciation
-Reading comprehension
-Spelling
It would all depend on the institute on what would they want their students to practice and learn at multimedia class.
That's good and all, but with computers and the programmers would need to make the program run right with no mess ups or you are going to have problems and there you go. you need teachers teach first and then they can go on to the computer and take test and see what they have learned.

ReplyDeleteIt is true that taking advantage of the technologies is a great tool and a great idea in order to make easier the process of teaching and learning but also it is important to have this face to face contact with people around you and I think students should use this tools just as tools and not learn just from their computers but also being in contact with the facilitator and go to school the regular hours.
